Since 2008, the University Language Centre (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo - CLA) has promoted a foreign film series in different languages. The programme comprises two separate series, one reserved to students, University personnel and public citizens, the other open to schools and school teachers. 

Federico II students may obtain learning credits (CFU) for attending the screenings. For more info, please check the individual guidelines and regulations of each Course of Study.

The film series for schools is part of a broader thematic project which includes the production of original works to be shared with other schools by the end of the school year.

All films are in the original language with Italian subtitles so as to allow even those who don't speak the original language to enjoy the film.
The film series takes place at the Cinema Academy Astra, in Via Mezzocannone 109.
