What is IELTS?

 

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an English language test for admission to English-taught degree programs in Italy and worldwide. It's also a valuable certification for earning university credits, participating in the Erasmus program, and pursuing international career opportunities.

How to take the IELTS exam

 

Find a convenient date by checking our session schedule. Once you've selected your date, complete the online form to access the special IELTS rate (-15€) reserved for or students at your university. You will then receive an email from the British Council with instructions to complete your registration and confirm your exam date. For more information, please visit here.


 

How does IELTS on computer work?

The computer-delivered exam does not differ in duration, content, or tasks from the other exam formats, but it allows you to get your results faster. All the details are here. You can try the exam format for free here.

Exam venue and convocation

Exams take place at Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA - University Language Centre), located in via Mezzocannone 8, fourth floor (entrance also from via Paladino 39, second floor).

The candidates are convened at 8:45 for the AM session (starting time: 9:45) and at 12:30 for the PM session (starting time: 13:30).
During the registration, candidates choose at which time take the oral exam. Oral exams can be held on the same day of the written components or on another date.
