The University Language Centre is taking part in the DAI project (Developing an AI-assisted Italian Language Teaching and Learning System), which is dedicated to improving the teaching of Italian as a foreign language through the integration of artificial intelligence.
The project aims to address the current challenges of language learning by moving beyond the ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach of traditional teaching tools and introducing AI-based adaptive systems to offer personalised learning pathways.
It also aims to enhance the digital skills of teachers and policy-makers, promoting informed and critical use of artificial intelligence in educational contexts.
