The University Language Centre (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo) organises free Italian language courses from level A1 to B2. Access to the courses is reserved for incoming Erasmus students of the Federico II.
They take place in two periods of the year:
1st Semester: September - enrolment opening July
2nd Semester: February - enrolment opening December
Courses above A1 level are preceded by a placement test.
The courses are intensive, last 50 hours and attendance is compulsory to access the final.
At the end of the course, after passing a final test, students will receive a certificate awarding the 7 CFU/ECTS and for A1 and A2 levels also the Open Badge.
It is possible to continue one's Italian language training independently with ICoN courses.

Who can
register: Foreign students who have won an ERASMUS grant from the
University of Naples 'Federico II" arriving in February 2025.

The courses will start on 03/02/2025. The first few lessons will
be held online; later, in the second half of the course, they will be held in
presence. The final calendars will be published on the CLA
website by the last week of January.
Placement test (READ CAREFULLY):
The placement test is used to divide the students
into classes according to level. The student must take the test independently, without
external help. The test consists of 5 sections: personal data,
grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening. The test is available for one
attempt only. Once the test has started, the student has 1 hour to
complete it.
